These brown marble pieces on the Shadharawan of the Ka’bah are known as ‘Musallah Jibreel’ (Arabic: مصلى جبريل). They mark the spot where the angel Jibraeel (عليه السلام) taught the Prophet (ﷺ) how to pray salah following the miraculous night journey to Masjid al-Aqsa.
